We are trying to raise money to help our friend Gena who sadly lost her beautiful daughter Ariah on 04/11/2024 who was just 3 years old.

Ariah was born with cerebral palsy due to a neonatal hypoxic event at birth, to which she was born not breathing and required resuscitation for a total of 44 minutes. This lead to her having Cerebral palsy, dystonia and epilepsy.

Ariah had Gross motor function Classification System level 5, which is the most severe limitations of this condition. Needing all aspects of care.

When Ariah was born prognosis didn’t look great. She spent a total of 2 years in and out of hospital with infections, procedures, surgeries and a whole lot more! But she defied the odds we were first given. Ariah had just started school which she loved, had we friends with the same condition.

After being hospital free for 9 months,

Unfortunately Ariah took unwell, she was diagnosed with flu a flu b rhinovirus and sepsis, leading to kidney and liver failure, and was in ICU fighting for her life. Despite the best efforts of the staff in PICU very sadly Ariah passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

As Gena’s friends we would like to help Gena, Pearse and Caiden offload some of the financial burden of a funeral and all the associated costs in the mouth of Xmas. Please help us help them to ease some of the burden. No donation is too small and every penny is very much appreciated
