Aria Joy was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on August 15, 2020. She has had many rounds of chemotherapy which have been ineffective at putting her cancer into remission, and she unfortunately, relapsed while receiving treatment. Further testing determined that Aria has a rare subtype of B-Cell ALL called TCF3-HLF. This subtype has a very poor prognosis. Aria is now on immunotherapy & is in remission so she will have a bone marrow transplant. Aria's likelihood of relapse after transplant is still 75%.
