Aria Jade Black Fund

Aria Jade Black, daughter of Andraya Ellis and Anthony Black, was born April 21, 2020 at 9:59 A.M. at 10.5 inches and 1 pound .6 ounces. Aria was born 17 weeks premature due to preeclamsia.  At birth she was placed on a ventilator, which she is still on. At 2 weeks she was able to start on a feeding tube. On May 10th, Aria underwent a colostomy due to a perforation on her bowels which was causing an infection, she also had a hernia which they operated on. Following her surgery she has bloated alot in her belly and they temporarily stopped feedings until her colostomy started working. At 5 weeks both Andraya and Anthony got to hold their daughter for the first time.  Aria is active and enjoys sucking her thumb. She wiggles her fingers and toes a lot and enjoys tummy time. Aria Black was born during the coronavirus pandemic. Because of the pandemic only Andraya and Anthony are able to be at the hospital with Aria. She has been moved to a hospital that is further from their house, but the team there is much better for Aria.
