On the 23rd of February 2019, my mother (Fiona) had a brain hemorrhage which then led to a severe stroke and resulted in immediate care and rehabilitation. Immediately following the incident she was submitted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment, specifically Ward 205. My mother spent nearly 9 weeks within the neurosurgery/neurology High Dependency Unit where she received phenomenal treatment and care from the Doctors, Nurses and all other staff members within the ward.
To show our appreciation for the commitment and care from Ward 205 during my mother’s difficult time, myself and a close friend (Ben) have decided we will be doing a skydive at St Andrews on the 10th of October 2020 to raise money for the Friends of the Neuro Ward.
Any donations at all would be greatly appreciated as it will go towards buying new equipment and appliances that will further assist the care being provided to the patients of Ward 205.
