Argentina needs a Prosthetic Arm

Hi my name is Hope, and I am helping to raise funds for a friend in Costa Rica. Her name is Argentina Lopez and she was born without a forearm.

La meta es alcanzar 5000 dólares para que pueda contar una prótesis biomecánica y estética, la cual le ayudará a utilizar el computador y actividades diarias con mayor facilidad. Adaptada y personalizada a Argentina.

The goal is to raise $5000 so she can have a custom bio mechanical prosthetic made that will allow her to use the computer more efficiently for work along with other daily activities. Argentina’s wish is to have an innovative and technology based prosthetic to fit her needs. Please consider donating if you can. Here is more information in her own words:

Este proyecto lo realiza la startup costarricense de DiAmíti, una empresa de diseño, tecnología y salud que se basa en la investigación de diseño de productos personalizados. El objetivo de este dinero recaudado es ayudar en la investigación para que está solución pueda ayudarles a muchas personas más en Costa Rica y poder escalarlo a realizar la primer prótesis biónica hecha en Costa Rica para niños, jóvenes, adultos y adultos mayores. DiAmíti es una empresa que se dedica a empatizar y comprender la necesidad del cliente antes de brindar la solución del producto. Por eso nuestro enfoque es Soñar para Crear.

This project is carried out by DiAmíti, a Costa Rican startup that specializes in design, technology, and health. The company focuses on personalized product design research. The objective of raising funds is to support research that will enable this solution to benefit a larger number of people in Costa Rica and to scale it up to create the first bionic prosthesis made in Costa Rica for children, young people, adults, and seniors.
