A Fire on Easter Sunday ripped through the top floor of our home of over 20 years.
Just over 2 years ago, Al Arechiga, a hard working man, great dad, and husband, survived a stroke that left him disabled and our family financially and physically impacted.
Our town home complex offers NO handicap ramps or access, which proves it very hard to get in and out of the house . Our family feels extremely blessed to have made it out safely and very grateful to have neighbors, strangers, friends, and family offering support and assistance.
That being said, unfortunately we had minimal insurance. On top of that, an unauthorized contractor, went into our home and has discarded a lot of our personal property, or bagged it up along with pieces of the walls and burnt items. All this, before we got the chance to try and salvage anything, including Family wedding and picture albums.
With our minimal insurance, this leaves us with having to replace all of those personal belongings affected by the mishandling of our things, such as beds, furniture, and clothes.
Everything helps and we appreciate every single one of you. Thank you so so much!
