Friendly neighborhood gay who isn't racist or a fascist

Hey guys! I'm not racist, homophobic, or misogynistic.

Me not being these things shouldn't be rewarded; honestly, it should be the norm. Alas, straight white people are literally getting tens of thousands of dollars for being bigots!

One lady made 670K from a "Christian" crowdfunding source! That's beyond insane. Like, this lady made more than most people make in 10 years by calling a little black kid the N-word.

Recently, an openly racist guy named Connor (of course his name was Connor) made over 20K (it's been like a day) after his viral video on YouTube, where he openly said he was a fascist and refused to condemn Nazis.

As a gay black man in this country, I shouldn't be surprised by this country's racism, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't surprised about the 675K. Like, the fact that y'all would see a video of a white lady calling a black CHILD the N-word, and somehow not only think she's the hero of the story but that she somehow deserves half a million dollars, is so disheartening to see.

I have very low expectations for this post. Sadly, it's easier to rally around hate. Hell, even if I changed this title to like an I hate Trump fund (I mean, I do), it would probably do better because, for whatever reason, hate just sells.

I don't think you should hate someone just because they were born different from you. (Idk why that's a hard concept). I hate bigots; you aren't born a bigot, though (although it seems like some of y'all start young af).

(TLDR)

I'm not a bigot and I'd like to raise 10K for not being racist. If y'all can raise 20K in 1 day and the N-word lady can raise HALF A MILLION dollars, I'd like to think America is not racist enough to raise less than 10% of that.

(I honestly expect to raise like maybe 50 bucks )
