Help us lay our beautiful daughter to rest

My name is Chianti Alexander and I never imagined I would be writing something like this.

On May 17, 2025 my life changed forever. My beautiful 16 year old daughter Ardrina Slaughter was taken from us in the most senseless and heart breaking way . She was shot and killed. No words can describe the pain of losing your child. She had her whole life ahead of her. She was smart, full of laughter, full of dreams, and loved deeply by everyone who knew her.

As a mother, nothing prepares you for this kind of loss. I wake up every day hoping it’s a nightmare, but it isn’t. She’s really gone.

We are now faced with the unimaginable task of planning a funeral for our baby girl — something no parent should ever have to do. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. We want to give Adrina the farewell she deserves, to honor her life, her spirit, and the love she gave to all her family and friends.
