I absolutely hate to do this and I’ve never had to ask for help before so I don’t even know where to start, but my 5 year old daughters cat, KitKat, ate one of her toys 5 days ago and hasn’t been okay since. He’s been throwing up, can’t walk, won’t eat or drink anything, etc. I paid $600 at VCA for X-rays and diagnostics and they said a piece of they toy is stuck in his small intestine. we were sent over to pet emergency treatment for surgery but the quote they gave me is $5,423.06-8,163.06. They want the $5,423 to even keep him and start him on the fluids to get him stable enough for surgery and I simply don’t have it. My husband is active duty military and I stay home with our two kids. Due to the shut down we are already using savings for groceries and what not and other than putting down my daughters best friend the vets here told me to post and see if I could “crowd fund” so that’s what I’m doing in hopes of being able to save this cat. He is 1 years old so still a baby.
