Ardis needs help fixing her roof

Ardis Braun is the director of Dobies and Little Paws Rescue in Fillmore, CA. She works tirelessly to save as many dogs as she can and does so without taking a single penny in salary. She actually ends up having negative income each year because she gives what extra she can to the dogs and some years even kept the rescue afloat financially on her own.

Her roof has been leaking a bit in recent years but it’s getting exponentially worse and during a recent rain part of her ceiling started to cave in from all of the roof leaks. It needs to be fixed before it rains again or there is a risk of massive damage to her home and her health due to mold.

After meeting with several roofing companies, the best quote she could get for the extensive work needed is $15,900 (which includes a senior citizen discount). Ardis doesn’t have that kind of money available and she has no income so she’s distraught about what to do. She won’t take a dime from the rescue or away from the dogs so she needs help.

Ardis helps so many and has saved over 15,000 dogs during the over 30 years she’s been running Dobies and Little Paws Rescue but now she’s the one that needs a helping hand.
