Pets of the Canadian Arctic 2025 - Iqaluit, Nunavut

Hi, everyone.

Dr. Cliff here again.

We are returning to Iqaluit, Nunavut, and could use your help.

The Iqaluit Animal Shelter is the only animal care facility in the capital city of the Nunavut territory, and it lacks a veterinarian.

For 10 days, we will volunteer our time and skills—vaccinating, spaying, and neutering, treating various diseases, and even, if necessary, helping very old and sick pets say goodbye to their families peacefully and humanely.

We hope to raise $5000 to help cover a portion of the flight costs ($2000), with the remaining going towards purchasing necessary medications and surgical supplies. Any leftover funds will be donated to the shelter to assist in future care for the pets of the Arctic North.
