Hello !
My name is Alicia Contreras, I am a boxer and a coach out of Arciniega Boxing.
I have been at the gym for 4 years and from the moment I stepped into the gym I found a family and most importantly I learned who Jesus is!
This gym is an outreach ministry. It’s a hospital. We get many people walking through the doors from all walks of life different struggles different challenges, different opportunities, but the Lord takes care of us all in and out of the ring . The gym is family and home to many of us. It changed my life and many others at the gym.
We train people physically and mentally to prepare them for what the ring and life may bring. We are a non-profit organization and we are raising money to pay for upcoming boxing events, equipment, & travel for the team.
Coach Pete offers a world-class boxing gym, we train & fight hard and we have accomplished a lot in the amateur and pro rankings. We have Golden Glove champions, professional fighters who are highly ranked Title belt holders and pros who have fought on television. As for myself I have fought in the Texas women championship and came out victorious and currently training to get ready to fight for the State Golden Gloves Championship. We all do this to glorify the Lord for He gave us these skills and talent.
The weak get weaker and the STRONG get STRONGER!
