Archie’s Unexpected Medical Expenses

Hi, My name is Shera. My fiancé’s name id Kevin and our son’s name is Archie. Archie has had a rough start at life since birth. He’s turning 6 months old at the end of April. Unexpectedly..Archie had to go to the hospital to figure out why he was screaming and crying in pain , & why he was throwing up his baby food and formula. After a 1.5 hour ultrasound on my infant , they figured out something was up. Well , turns out , he has gallstones. The hospital was perplexed. Pediatrics and GI Surgery had to put their heads together and the outcome was transferring to Boston Children’s Hospital to see a Pediatric GI Surgeon. Fast forward to current time.. Archie has had an ultrasound and so much bloodwork. He has 3 gallstones. We’re still waiting it out to see if it’ll pass. If not. , he will need surgery to remove it(earliest Wednesday). The hospital is not very accommodating so only one of us can stay with him overnight. We were fortunate enough to get a hotel (Sunday-Friday) within 2 minutes walking distance. But the total is just about $1400..including the food we have to buy to feed ourselves since the hospital won’t provide anything for us unless we pay , and the parking that will only be discounted a little bit. It’s a very stressful , foul , & frustrating situation we’re in. I never EVER would ask others for anything. I had to dip into my savings for our house to pay for the hotel along with the other people helping to pay that cost. Bless them in every way possible for their help.
