My name is Brenda Evans, founder of Archie’s Cat Sanctuary.

Archie, our brave paraplegic cat, taught us what courage, love, and hope truly mean. Even with his disability, he lived with incredible strength and spirit. When Archie passed away, I made a promise in his honor: that every vulnerable, disabled, or sick stray animal who needs a safe and loving home would always have one with us.

Today, our sanctuary is full, and the need keeps growing.

To continue this mission and protect the animals in our care, we must legally register Archie’s Cat Sanctuary. This step will ensure that the sanctuary can operate officially, transparently, and safely for years to come.

It will also enable us to access funds/grants to continue rescuing strays in desperate need.

The total cost required for this process is €700, which is unfortunately beyond what we can cover alone.

“How do I know my donation will be used wisely?”

Every euro raised will go directly toward registration costs, legal protection, and the continued care of the animals. We will share updates throughout the process and create a donor acknowledgment page so supporters can see the real impact of their kindness.

“Why €700? Isn’t that a lot?”

This amount covers the official government filings, required translations, and notarizations needed to legally establish the sanctuary. It is an essential investment that will allow us to grow and help even more animals in need.

“I already donate to other causes.”

Archie’s Cat Sanctuary is a small but rapidly growing rescue that cares for many vulnerable, disabled and sick stray animals who have nowhere else to go. Your support makes a direct and visible difference in their lives.

“I can’t give a lot.”
