At the age of 18 months, Archie was paralysed from a rare virus that sadly caused inflammation around his spinal cord and as a result of this, is unable to breathe or move without support.

Archie is a very happy and bright boy with full intellectual understanding. He loves to live life to the fullest and this includes attending gigs and concerts plus eating out at every opportunity he gets.

The opportunity has arisen after many years to attend intense physiotherapy sessions at Neurokinex. Given this opportunity, it will support and maximise any potential recovery for our son. As imagined, the cost for the physio is expensive and to help us give the best chances, we would be very greatful for any donations.

The initial assessment will determine the intensity. From the current advisory’s, the sessions will be a minimum coverage of 36 hours over 6 weeks. This will include lots of trips from Southampton to London. For Archie this will be very intense but as our boy is so strong willed, we are fully confident he will take this in his stride.
