10 days ago my dad, Archie's, hearing aids stopped working. These helped him communicate with others on a daily basis. Dad has been an upstanding member of the Windsor community for many years and he loves speaking with anyone he sees in town. Every conversation he has is important to him and right now he is dispirited at the loss of his hearing aids.
He can get them replaced but it's hard for him right now to juggle his out of pocket expenses with his monthly budget.
The ones he had were from Costco and were about $3,000 for the pair. They lasted for about 5 years - well past warranty. The next ones will be the same brand and he hopes to have his hearing back soon.
