Hi. My name is Stacey.

As many of you are aware, my partner Mark & I welcomed our tiny but mighty beautiful baby boy Archie into this world on the 1/09/24, 11weeks and 1day early weighing a tiny 2lb 2oz. He stayed in the neonatal unit in Limerick Maternity hospital for 85 days where he fought day in day out. On the 25/11/24 we brought Archie home to his besotted big brother Jack.

Sadly and very unexpectedly, on the 22/12/24 he grew his angel wings . Something a parent should never have to endure, especially not three days before his first Christmas.

To celebrate Archie’s 1st birthday and to give back to the amazing nurses and drs in Limerick Maternity Neonatal Unit and Limerick Children’s Resus in the Regional Hospital where Archie sadly passed, we are holding a fundraising bingo on the 30th August in the Charleville park hotel. There will also be spot prizes and an auction of signed and framed Limerick, Cork and Munster jerseys. Details of the bingo are in the picture of the poster below.

I am setting up this go fund me for people who can’t make the bingo but would still like to donate.

We will truly never be able to repay all the health care professionals who cared for Archie in his short but busy life, but would love to show our gratitude in raising as much funds as possible to help other families who may find themselves in a similar situation to ourselves.
