Help Archie walk again

Hi, my name is Tracey and I’m hoping you can help my daughter Kristy to raise the funds she needs to help with her beautiful rescue greyhound Archie who is currently unable to walk due to spinal cord compression from a disc prolapse in his neck.

Archie & Kristy have been together for 2 years after she adopted him during COVID lockdown. Archie has gradually shown us what an adventurous, energetic, gangly and affectionate longboi he is. They have had many adventures, camping, 4WDing and their love for each other has grown.

Archie always has boundless energy until a few days ago when he became progressively weaker in his back legs and was unable to walk. Emergency veterinary investigations with MRI showed the cause was a ruptured disc in his neck pressing on his spinal cord. Without surgery he would be completely paralysed.

Surgery could help, but then would be the long road to be able to walk again with doggy physiotherapy & rehab.

Of course, what could she do but try to help her best friend, but all of this has a large price tag on it.

If you know Archie, he is an exuberant boy, but now he can’t even lift his head off the ground! No leaping, no barking at small fluffies, no zoomies around the backyard, no jumping on the lounge for snuggles.
