Archie to the Under 20 Men’s lacrosse world championships
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Archie Carr, and I’m incredibly proud to have been selected to represent England at the Men’s Under-20 Lacrosse World Championships this summer in Jeju, South Korea.
This is the biggest opportunity of my life so far — to wear the England jersey on the world stage, compete against the best young players on the planet, and be part of a team I’ve worked towards for years.
Lacrosse has been a huge part of my life. The hours of early training sessions, balancing my sport with work and education, and the commitment it takes to reach this level have all been worth it. But unlike some sports, lacrosse is not fully funded — and this means players must cover a large portion of the costs themselves.
The total cost for the trip is over £7,000, which includes flights, accommodation, kit, training camps, tournament fees, and food. As a 19-year-old balancing an apprenticeship and everyday expenses, it’s a big financial challenge — and that’s why I’m reaching out for your help.
Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards helping me achieve this dream. Whether it’s £5 or £50, it will make a genuine difference. And if you’re unable to donate right now, a share on social media would also mean the world.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I’m so grateful for your support and can’t wait to make my country — and everyone who supports me — proud this summer in South Korea.
With thanks,
Archie Carr
