Archie Moose Broke his Femur And Needs Surgery!

Hi friend, this is Mike Hosier, owner of Moose Golden Retrievers . Yesterday I got the news that one of our beloved Mocha's (RIP) puppies broke his left rear femur, ouch! The poor fella was just playing ball at home when we turned wrong and yelped loudly!

Archie is owned by Jennifer and Brian Campoli of Ballston Spa, they also own Bruce who was the sire of Autumn Reds, Bruce is Archie's dad. The accident happened yesterday, Sunday afternoon July 9th. Archie spent the evening with his local vet medicated to not cause any further damage and to help with the pain. Today Archie is having surgery at Latham Animal Hospital, they hope to repair his leg with plates, but the worst-case scenario could mean amputation, let's hope it does not come to that. Post-surgery Archie is going to have a long recovery by trying to stay calm and not be a puppy, it's going to be difficult.

Jennifer and Brian are devastated, like all our puppy owners Archie is their baby, plus all of Mocha's puppies are extremely special to us. I started this Go Fund Me in hopes that maybe our community would like to offer some financial assistance toward what sounds like will be some hefty veterinarian bills for Jennifer and Brian, upwards of $10K.
