Archibald IVDD Treatment :(

Our dear Archibald came into our hearts and home in 2017, a support pet for Otto our first Dachshund, our little sausage pair have been inseparable ever since. A companion not only for Otto but our whole family. His nature, so chilled, sweet and loving. It's with a heavy heart that we received the news that Archie has developed IVDD . A painful and debilitating condition that effects the spine, limiting mobility and causing immense pain and confusion. We know all too well the difficulty of this condition as our first sausage Otto has also suffered, but thankfully received surgical treatment in 2022, giving him back his quality of life.

The sudden diagnosis of Archie has come at a very difficult time and we face the reality, that the pain relief we can afford will only aid him for a short time and without the finances to fund his immediate surgery, we feel we will need to put him to rest.

This breaks all of our hearts.

It is with great courage and love for our dear Archie that I've set up this go fund me campaign, to help us cover his medical expenses. The fees raised will pay for the emergency surgical treatment. The cost for the procedure is $7,000.
