Archer Donald Ackerman was born on August 29, 2020, son of Amanda and John Ackerman. Shortly after giving birth to Archer, his loving mother Amanda tragically passed from complications of childbirth. Our hearts ache for little Archer who never got to meet his sweet kind and loving mother who touched so many lives. For John, who experienced the joy of bringing his son into the world and the pain of losing his wife he loved so dearly, all within a few hours. For Amanda's parents who lost their own child too soon. For all that mourn the passing of such a sweet soul.
Amanda was a loving wife to John, an amazing dedicated second grade teacher to her students whom she loved, and a caring and thoughtful daughter, sister, and friend. Amanda was a gift to everyone who knew her. She will be missed by many.
As lifelong friends of John, we are raising funds for Archer's future education in honor of his mother's love for teaching and dedication to education. We believe that this is what Amanda would have wanted for her son. The funds that we raise will be placed into a 529 college saving plan or similar college savings plan for Archer. Thank you so much for all the support everyone has given to John and Archer.
