jessica and justin dickerson need our HELP

This is going to be a long and hard read, but bare with me.

Just this past September of 2022, one of the most beautiful couples stood in front of family and friends and exchanged their vows, placed rings on each others fingers and were excited for their future together and growing their very own family.

This March, Jessy was 23 weeks along with their son Arbor Lee when they were delivered news no parent should ever hear, he wasn’t going to make it. After seeking out every possible avenue and countless doctor visits and hospital stays, they lost their sweet baby boy Arbor.

One week into her mending her heart and body, Jessy and her husband were delivered another devastating blow - Justin was diagnosed with Stage 4 Burkitt Cell Lymphoma - a rare, highly aggressive and fast growing non-hodgkin’s cancer. Justin had abdominal surgery, and the doctors stopped counting after 20 tumors were found present in his body. In the following weeks, Justin started chemotherapy treatment, only to find more and bigger tumors throughout his body. Moving on to a more aggressive spinal chemo, Justin is suffering complications due to all treatments. After spending just a few days back home after the aggressive chemo treatments, Justin suffered a stroke and has returned to the hospital.

While we can send thoughts and prayers, well wishes and good vibes, these two incredible people are facing trials and tribulations in life that no one ever should. They both are trying to soak up every second together, and Jessy will be out of work to spend time with her husband during his courageous fight with this terrible disease. They have home bills, medical bills and travel expenses from commuting back and forth to houston to be together. No one should ever have to go through this alone, and with being out of work for the unforeseeable future, they need our help.

We are asking our village to show up for these newlyweds, so they can fight the good fight without losing everything they have worked so hard for in the process. Donations of any size are welcomed and appreciated as they try to navigate through their grief, hospital stays and treatments.
