Arbia, Ashley, Mitchelle and The Fur Babies
Donation protected
In the early morning hours on Thursday March 14th, Arbia woke up to smoke coming from the attic that is right by his bedroom in his home in Willowick. Arbia calmly made his way downstairs with his 3 dogs in tow to Ashley and Mitchelle's bedroom and alerted them to the fact that there was a fire in the home all while keeping his composure to help ensure everyone made it out safely and thank goodness they all did.
I am Ashley's Mom Dana, and I've known Arbia for years and when I say he is one of the most special friends Ashley has ever had, I mean it 100%. He is a part of our family and will remain so! He was gracious enough to open his home to Ashley and Mitchelle at a turning point in their lives and he never thought twice about it! Ashley and Mitchelle are two amazing souls who would do anything for anyone at anytime! The three of them have been leaning on each other and helping each other out since the fire when they could easily focus on themselves individually but that is not how their friendship works.
As we all know, fire is a very destructive force and the process of putting out fires is no where near described as "gentle". While they are still waiting on more information from the insurance company, progress with their claim is being made...slowly and surely. All of them are safe and comfy with the fur babies but they are still waiting for a more permanant housing situation. Mostly everything within the house was destroyed and we have received clothing donations that is helping them "get by" for a handful of days, but I am hoping we can raise some funds to have ready to go for once the need to replace "bigger ticket" items arises.
Donate if you can...any amount or at the very least, please share this link. Prayers are beyond welcome as well!!! I thank you in advance for your help...I will update as we hear more in regards to their claim!!!
