Thank you for visiting this page and considering donating to this important cause. My name is Amber Dee, and I’m raising funds for my friend and neighbor, Aralynn Shields, who recently suffered a terrible accident and is now facing significant hardship.

On Saturday, February 1st, Aralynn fell and broke the head of her femur which required surgery the next day. After spending 4 days in the hospital she is home however, requires continued care and is only able to walk with the assistance of a walker. She is currently without insurance and was told her hospital stay was around $70,000 the day before leaving.

Now first, let me tell you a little about Aralynn...

She’s the woman who lifts up everyone around her. The one who sees the silver lining in the hardest moments and makes you feel stronger just by being in her presence. Her kindness and positivity are truly radiant.

Fiercely independent and strong-willed, Aralynn has always been someone who inspires and motivates others. Asking for help is difficult for her, but right now, she needs it more than ever.

Aralynn stepped away from her full-time job last fall to pursue and build her own holistic wellness business. To support herself during this time, she’s been driving for Uber. Recently, she secured a new full-time position that begins in about 6–8 weeks, but for now, her recovery must come first.

Her best path to a full recovery is focusing on rest and healing. While she’s actively exploring remote, freelance opportunities she can manage during recovery, she urgently needs financial assistance to cover her immediate expenses.
