Aracely Saenz-Matanciallas Funeral Costs.
Hello everyone, my name is Ashley Saenz-Guerra.
We (her nieces & nephews) are making this GoFundMe to help pay for the funeral expenses for my aunt.
Her name was Aracely Saenz - Matanciallas. Her birthdate is November 19, 1960. She was 60 years old. She lived in Houston, Texas for most of her life, but then decided to come down to Rio Grande City, Texas to be closer to her parents (my grandparents). She left behind her husband (Ramon Matanciallas), her parents (Anastacio & Graciela Saenz), & her siblings (Ramona Saenz-Adame, Juan Antonio Saenz, Orlando Javier Saenz, & Soraida Saenz).
As like for many of us, 2020 was a tough year! My aunt went through many surgeries and procedures. As soon as we thought one illness was taken care of, another would arise. She was in and out of the hospital and was never able to rest in her home.
My aunt had open heart surgery due to 90% blood clots.. the doctors were even surprised that she was still able to stand and simply talk. The surgeons had to remove veins from each one of her legs to bring it up to her heart so the blood flow could be regulated. She was being cared for by her sister (Ramona) and her parents. During recovery she was not allowed to walk, her only movements were from bed, rocking chair, and restroom.
Right after recovering from open heart surgery, she was hospitalized once again and had appendix surgery.
Since then she was in and out of the hospital due to Edema (body retaining fluids). This was making her heart extremely weak. So, the doctors decided to get together and perform an emergency surgery to try to get it all under control.
During surgery her blood pressure just kept dropping. The nurses would contact her sister (Ramona) to let her know that there were complications arising and that they had to put a ventilator to help my aunt breath. Sadly, all this did not help my aunt keep her blood pressure up during the surgery, which later caused her to pass away.
No one was prepared for this, my aunt was full of life and still had so much to look forward to.
We are extremely grateful for any help that we receive!
THANK YOU, SAENZ FAMILY. ❤️
