South Africa Service Trip

Dear family and friends,
I want to share the good news that I have been accepted into a High School Summer Abroad Program through the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE)! In this program I will be doing service and leadership work in South Africa from July 12th to August 1st. For three weeks, I will be working in Cape Town communities, learning about South African culture, and helping local citizens through service projects that will bring Nelson Mandela’s legacy to life.
The application process for this program gave me the opportunity to glimpse into the future and see what applying to college will be like. I’m so truly blessed and thankful that I was chosen out of a select few to receive a scholarship; however, it is still costly. In order to take advantage of this opportunity, I need to raise approximately $3,500 which will cover my airfare, cultural classes, excursions, housing and meals. I am hoping you can make a donation and help sponsor my trip. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated. My program tuition is due by April 17, 2020.
