My name is De'Zhane' McCarthy and I'm 20 years old. In October of 2018 I was diagnosed with a devastating disease called Gastroparesis. As a result I had to drop out of college and have been too ill to work. Now I have acquired an astronomical amount of medical bills from over numerous amount of emergency admissions and hospital stays. Unfortunately there is no cure for this disease and because it is so rare it is very few specialist in my area. With this disease I am unable to digest solid or liquid foods. And as a result my colon is no longer working properly to empty waste. The tremendous amount of medical bills is putting a strain on my household. Both my mom and I are disabled and unable to work. Social Security has denied me twice since the end of last year. I would appreciate it if you can donate whatever you can. The donations will go to outstanding medical cost and my care going forward.
