It took 47 days to learn Alex has Acute Myeloid Leukemia, Liver Cancer, Bile Duct Cancer, and Tumors around his Spinal Cord and it all started because he felt a bump on his head while brushing his hair. While the liver and bile duct cancer have a known treatment there is a rare gene mutation in his leukemia that makes it uncurable, hard to manage with treatments and unfortunately starts a timer no one deserves. In 13 days his strength was drained by the chemo, the cancers and the pain. He was 34 years young, to turn 35 this July, but his heart was strong and he chose to fight. Alex fought long and hard the last 48 hours, until him and his family were ready to let go. He deserved so much more than life delt him, but he turned it into endless love and positivity that will last longer than the time he spent in this world.
