For my mama ❤️

 

Michelle had her life planned out for the upcoming year, and had lots to look forward to. She was moving to Ontario with her fiancé James. Then planning on getting married in Paris, after it getting postponed from covid for 2 years.

 

Mid November she discovered a lump on her left breast. December 14th her life changed when she was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer.
Finding out right before Christmas was not only devastating to her but to her family as well. A time that is usually joyful was filled with sadness and emptiness.

 

She underwent surgery January 13th to remove the lump, which was a grade 3, with 17 lymph nodes. 4 were positive. Her hormone levels are considered a triple negative. This causes the cancer to spread very quickly. Because of this she is undergoing a very aggressive type of chemo that she began February 12th. She will go through 4 rounds of the first cycle. Then followed by 4 rounds of a second cycle then radiation. She will be starting her second cycle at the Juravinski Center in Ontario. As well as her radiation.

 

Everyone that knows my mom knows how talented, and beautiful she is. She’s always been someone I admire since I was little. My mom is lovely parent to me and my sister, and an awesome grandmama to my kids. It breaks my heart having someone you love struggle while you’re so far away. 

So I created this fundraiser for my mom Michelle. The donations are to help her out with her big move to Ontario, and any bills that she will have due to weekly appointments, and side effects from chemo as she’s been unable to work.

 

 

My mom is a warrior, and cancer has nothing on her !
