Crystal DeJesus Memorial Fund

On Sunday October 3rd 2021, the world lost the brightest light, any of us has ever known. Crystal Rose DeJesus(b. April 16th, 1987) lost her battle with a recently diagnosed illness.

 

Her mischievousness, her voice and her kind soul made her an immediate friend to anyone that met her. If you were fortunate enough to have met Crystal, you would have known her from her smile alone. The love she had for the people in her life was unparalleled. We are better for meeting her and at a huge loss now that she is gone. Throughout her life and her travels, she touched the lives of so many and ensured that no one was ever wanting for a friend.

 

Dillon and Crystal met at CU in Boulder and have been inseparable ever since. They have traversed the continent traveling in their car from the Florida Keys to the coast of California and various places in between.

 

Since that time they have enriched so many of our lives as they have worked and strived to make every place they live the better for it.

 

Throughout those travels they have always loved the animals that make us better people, and have adopted several rescue dogs once they settled back in their native state of Colorado.

 

For the last several years they have called Northern Colorado their home. This loss cannot be put into words at this point, but it will be felt across the fabric of our lives as we strive to live in a world without her.
