Hello everyone, as some of you may know, a few months ago, David received the devastating news that he has cancer. After a hopeful surgery, his doctors found that his levels weren’t going down as expected which means he now has to begin an aggressive round of chemotherapy — five days a week, for the next three months.

This treatment is incredibly demanding and as expected, leaves little room for work.

Although cancer is a battle David ultimately has to face in his own body, that doesn’t mean he has to go through it without support. I know that many out there love and care for David and have wanted an opportunity to help him, which is why we decided to start this gofundme for him. While we can’t take this fight off his shoulders, we can help carry the weight around it.

If you know David, you know the kind of person he is. He’s the one who brings people together, whether through his music, his art, his jokes, and especially the way he cares. He’s been a constant presence for so many, showing up in ways big and small for his family, friends, and community. If the situation was switched, he would be the first one to help, as he has done many times in the past. I’m sure we all have a story of David making us laugh when we needed it most!

But right now, David needs a chance to focus fully on healing without the added pressure of having to work. David and everyone who loves him would be so grateful if you helped us to raise funds to help him cover medical costs outside of his insurance, essential living expenses, and the basic necessities that will allow him to rest and recover with some peace of mind.
