Wayne Dickson family fundraiser

Tax deductible

Wayne Dickson passed away in his sleep on Monday, August 9, 2021. He was our audio-visual, computer expert at our Conferences for over 20 years. Not only was Wayne a volunteer, he also drove from Colorado for each of our Conferences and would often bring his wife Brenda and son Charlie with him. You might remember Charlie as the young man with Down Syndrome who is pictured here with Wayne at a conference several years ago.  Wayne's other son, Eirik, also assisted his Dad with the AV/computers at some of the Conferences.

Wayne had suffered a heart attack last fall as well as having several other medical issues. His wife Brenda is a full-time caretaker for Charlie who needs constant attention. The family will be facing some pretty severe financial issues surrounding Wayne's passing and follow-up for Brenda and Charlie.

We hope you will donate to this extremely deserving family. We are devastated at this sudden loss. Wayne was not only a dedicated colleague but also a deep, personal friend. Wayne had no life insurance.  ALL monies that are donated will be given to the family. Any donation receipt will be issued by the organization for tax-purposes.

There will be a memorial service at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Woodland Memorial Park, 200 N Park St, Woodland Park, CO 80863. Brenda wanted to do this Memorial on a rather quick notice because of Charlie and his issues with understanding what has happened to his Dad.
