Joe Garcia aka Officer Friendly, aka Uncle Joe, aka My Dad needs a lung transplant. He has passed all the tests showing he is healthy except for his lungs. My mom has helped him get everything set up. We planned the surgery in Oklahoma because that's the place that has a transplant hospital closest to one of his kids. He will be staying with my brother for 6 months to a year and my mom will be traveling back and forth. We have a little saved up to help cover the trips back and forth and the expenses that come with that but this week we found out the copay for his insurance is $14000. It needs to be paid in order for him to start the next phase and get the transplant. Please help us out. Anything will help!!! His next appointment is scheduled for November 28th 2022.
