Two years ago, Justine started to experience simple headaches and then her symptoms progressively worsened. In December of 2020, a
month before Justine’s birthday, her headaches became severely debilitating. There were several incidents when her headaches were so
excruciating, that Justine would cry due to the amount of pain. From that point forward, Justine’s symptoms began to spiral out of control and new symptoms started to develop, which made matters tremendously worse. Her painful headaches progressed into spasms that
started in her neck and went into to her head. She later found out that those spasms were seizures.
In addition to the headaches and seizures, Justine experienced a temporary loss of vision in one eye for a few weeks. Justine made
frequent visits to the doctor to address her symptoms, only to be told that it was nothing and that she needed to exercise, eat well, and not stress so much. Justine was not convinced with this brush off the shoulders diagnosis because the spasms would not stop. All these
symptoms took over and consumed her daily life. She stopped driving, could not simply enjoy a weekend with her family, or even go out
with her friends. I remember just seeing her cry from frustration because she did not know what was wrong. I was frustrated along with
her because she had a poor quality of life. We then realized that this was more than just headaches and stress. She was referred to a neurologist for further testing. When Justine received the 2nd Covid vaccine that triggered her symptoms to the point that she had to be hospitalized. If it were not for the vaccine we probably would not have found out. When Justine met the neurologist, he recommended an MRI
of the brain, and the MRI was approved the following Monday and a week later she had the MRI and she was given her results.
Justine was diagnosed with Stage 3 Anaplastic Astrocytoma and was admitted into the hospital. Justine underwent brain surgery within a few days of being admitted, and the surgeons were able to remove approximately 90% of the brain tumor. Justine is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, God willing, remove that remaining 10% of the brain tumor. We are still in disbelief of how fast this all happened … from her headaches, spasms, to finding out they were seizures and receiving the devastating diagnosis of brain cancer. Through it
all, Justine has managed to stay positive, hopeful, faithful and impressively strong.
My Name is Gina Radcliff, Justine's aunt and I am writing this on behalf of Justine's family and her best friend Karina, who collaborated to
give you the best version of Justin's story. We started this go fund me page with a vision of hope for Justine. Medical care can be super
expensive and we do not want Justine’s medical care and treatment to be limited. We all are extremely shocked by the devastating news,
but we will walk this journey alongside Justine.!! We can all make a difference in someone's life. You can be a part of Justine's story of
hope and healing. Please help support our beautiful Justine.
We pray to God that He moves on Justine's behalf and believe in His supernatural ways. If you feel the tug in your heart, please give
share and spread hope for Justine.
Thank you.
