Support Melissa's Fight Against Ovarian Cancer

Hey there! My name is Shay and I'm raising money to help my mom pay for her medical bills and expenses that have accrued during her journey to beat Ovarian Cancer.

On February 12th, her world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Unfortunately, this type of cancer is hard to diagnose until symptoms arise. By the time doctors realized her pain was the result of Ovarian Cancer, the tumor had grown to the size of a sheet of paper and 3 inches thick. She went through her debulking surgery and completed her Chemo treatments and got to ring the bell. As she will tell anyone who has not gone through this, it's a bittersweet moment to ring that bell because we have to wait for the scan to confirm the cancer is gone.

As much as she wants to go back to work to see the kids she works with and go back to some bit of normalcy, she really needs to rest and heal. However, with all the doctor's appointments and my parents' income being narrowed down to 1 source, I am looking for assistance with helping them alleviate some of the financial burden.

All of the funds raised will go towards her medical insurance, medical bills and other outstanding bills that are a direct result of the reduced income.
