Support for Sarah

Donation protected
Our dear friend and colleague Sarah Chan needs our help. We were sorry to learn she was injured in a serious accident. She was struck while walking on the street by a drunk driver.  Due to the nature of her injuries, the hospital had to amputate part of her left leg.  She is expected to be out of work for several months and will require substantial rehabilitation.  Anyone who has ever interacted with Sarah knows how kindhearted and how willing she is to help others. She now needs our help to overcome one of the biggest challenges of her life. Any amount you can donate to Sarah will be greatly appreciated.  This will help to cover expensive rehab that is not covered by insurance while she is trying to overcome this tragedy.

UPDATE 5/17: Sarah’s family has been providing updates on her condition. She had to undergo extensive surgery to repair broken ribs. She needs to undergo additional surgery this coming Monday to repair her hip and leg. We really appreciate everyone’s generosity, prayers and kind words you’ve left here for Sarah and her family. Please continue to share this link so we can help Sarah as much as possible in her recovery.

UPDATE 5/20: The family is requesting that no visitors come at this time. They will let us know when Sarah is ready.
