Help Jacinta Whiston Recover from Encephalitis

Hi my name is Donna, I am starting this go fund me fundraiser for Jacinta my friend and coworker. She is only 59 and we nearly lost her this December. She is just an all around awesome person who is a blessing to have in your life!!! Jacinta has been through several serious medical hurdles. She had a cerebral aneurysm and surgery in early December, after surgery encephalitis developed on the brain spending nearly 2 months in Neuro ICU at Lenox Hill. Thankfully she is currently in an acute neurological rehabilitation and will soon go to a sub acute facility for a longer term of extensive neurological and physical rehabilitation.

Many know, Jacinta has made a huge impact on those around her, not just with her endless love and support for her family and friends. Jacinta has always gone out of her way give to and support those in need, always paying it forward.

At work she volunteered and was a hands on participant and driving force behind several Maharam Cares chartable organizations. She has made this a priority in her life. Building with Habitat for Humanity on Long Island, putting together donated lunches at St Joseph the Worker Church in Bellport. As well as countless coat and food drives including raising money for #EndometriosisFoundation #FDNY343Ride #LymphedemaAwareness. Our fun life loving Jacinta has an extremely long road ahead.
