Synopsis
"A Psychopath's Memoirs" begins showing a conflicting relationship between mother(Rhianna) and son(Jake). He is an adult now who has a demon alter ego (Appolyon)that is intertwined deeply in his life and thoughts.
He has flashback memories about his childhood about how his mother treated him. Appolyon has been in his life ever since he experienced severe beatings by his mother as a young boy.
Appolyon has ties that go deep into the histories of this family and others.
The history of what happened to Rhianna is written into the second episode (not yet completed). She was taken by a cult, raped, tortured, and experimented on.
After escaping she realized there was a baby growing inside her. Because of her religious beliefs the decission to abort was not an option.
From that rape came Jake, even though she loved him, there was also a hatred for where he came from. These conflicting thoughts led her to go a little crazy and beat him every time he did bad things.
She would catch him killing animals and hurting girls close to his age. She was concerned with how he would grow up, but also wrapped up in her past.
Mother was tracked down and killed by the cult leader (also Jakes illegitemate father). Now Appolyon comes into Jakes life full time to help turn him into a killer. Jake plans out startegies and tracks down each member beginning with Jackie. She is the lowest rung on the ladder inside the cult circle.
The brains behind all of this chaos is Appolyon. But is Appolyon real or imaginary?
Now The big question, I have created and finished this episodic pilot type of film, but where do I want to take it? I'm so glad you asked that.
I got this film done under budget and would like the funding that great people like you donate and pour it into 8-10 more episodes. I would like to see this either on Netflix or HBO. That would be the goal for now. Later we can focus on making a full length feature compiling and compressing the story into a 2 hour film.

THE HISTORY BEHIND CREATION OF THIS FILM:
One year ago or so, an actor friend of mine (Gabriel Lane, AKA Appolyon) and I sat down at a coffee shop (downtown Riverside) waiting for my rehearsal for a theatrical play "Monte Python's Spamalot". While there we shared our future ideas. I read a few paragraphs of a book I was writing called "A Sociopath's memoirs".
He got excited and he said (very enthusiastically) "Dude, we need to make a movie out of this!" I was encouraged by his energy about it so I began to type out (two finger style) a script, loosly based on the book. I had never written a script, nor had I ever finished any books or writings before. (Minus a poem about a drunk guy being beaten in a bar).
In 4 months time after sitting on it for a few months I had a working technical script pounded out. All actors I shared this story with wanted to (drooling) be a part of it. Most wanted to play the psychopath, I thought they were nuts, until I realized what it would mean to play a difficult part such as this.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR/DIRECTOR:
Marc went through many acting and on camera scene work classes over the years, spent plenty of paper on coaching and such. Orriginally his goal was to create a career as a supporting role actor in film.
Marc would occasionally would get in trouble for explaining to actors what the director really wanted. That was the moment he realized his need to become the director and make films created out of his mind.

His vision is HUGE, the goals have no cap, and an increddible passion is what drives this energy. Also it's a great way to funnel anger issues he states laughing lightly.
"My true love in film is comedy and I understand how Horror and comedy are synonymous with one another".
Our next films will have great comedic timing written into the situations and dialog.
