My name is April Gilliam, and honestly I am embarrassed that I have to have a gofundme, but because all the agencies in my county don't have any funds. I am able to get food and I have a place to stay. What I don't have are monies to pay my bills. On my birthday Duke Energy is going to turn off my power. Why? Because I was not paying what was due every month because I had a stroke in March and was hospitalized until April. and I am only working 1 week if that because I am still trying to keep up with my rent so at least I have a place to stay. I still have to use a rollator and I'm still in physical therapy and occupational therapy. These things aren't cheap, I still find myself paying out $50 copays and slowly watched my savings turn to cents. And Uber and Lyft rides add up. I only am asking for what I need. I would appreciate a $1 if it is from the heart. Thank you and I love you all, but Jesus loves you more and there ain't nothing you can do about it.
