April’s Fight Against DFSP

Hello everyone, last month I was unexpectedly diagnosed with dermatofibrosarcoma protrubens (DFSP), a rare, locally aggressive, malignant soft tissue sarcoma in my left upper breast (tumor can be seen in my graduation photo). My diagnosis was unfortunately missed, but after 7 years I finally have some answers. To say this news is devastating and overwhelming is an understatement. 

I am about to start treatment with doctors at MD Anderson while also continuing my medical school journey.

As I embark on this challenging journey, I hope to have your support through donations to help fund the medical bills from surgeries and hospital visits that have lead to my diagnosis and God willing my cure. Prayers are ALWAYS and truly appreciated.
