April's Facial Feminization Surgery Fund

Hello, my name is April and I've created a GoFundMe page for my facial feminization surgery (FFS). I am transgender and often the dysphoria (distress) of seeing the old me in the mirror is not only haunting but mentally debilitating. It causes severe distress, anxiety, and depression for most transwomen and the only way to get past this distress is to have a very expensive group of surgeries referred to as FFS. While FFS is a lifesaver, it costs between $30k and $60k!! Seeing as I'll likely never achieve this feat on my own I decided it was in my best interest to create this page. This surgery will not only increase my self-acceptance of who I am but will drastically increase my confidence so I can achieve my full potential in my life.
