April Jourdan's Hiney Helper Cancer Fund

This is to all of April Jourdan's family, friends, and coworkers.  You may or may not know by now that April will be having surgery at MD Anderson next Tuesday in the hopes that she will finally have some pain relief in her back/hip.  I wanted to start this GoFundMe page not only because April is a dear friend, but that I work in the Oncology field and I know how expenses such as surgery, treatment, medicine, personal expenses can build in the blink of an eye.  April is a very humble person and would never ask for anything.  So I asked her.. Let me put together this fundraiser for You and Your family.  Let us, family, friends, coworkers, do something that may provide for you during this intense moment/week/year.  

I won't go into specifics, but it's been a bumpy road for April the last couple of months. She and her immediate family have been traveling to MD Anderson several times a month for different appointments to finally receive the positive news that surgery could be scheduled.
Thank you to the Oncology team at MD Anderson for the teamwork put into this happening.   Please pray for April next Tuesday, July 9th as she goes through this surgery.  

In order to give April a sense of monetary relief, and for her to focus on taking care of herself, her husband Chris and both of their daughters above everything else during this time, I came up with an amount which may help to keep the framework of their life in tact--it may be too small or too large to some, but it's an amount to put in play.  Hopefully it may help with the mortgage, car, and household bills, offsetting lost wages, and school tuitions. In round numbers, that adds up to $25,000.

I make this donation to help with what is needed in the coming months
I pray the next few days provides you with a perfect outcome
and able to have that full glass of wine, instead of just with some.
Here's to you to walk pain free with no timed tablet or pill 
for back to a normal week or year and seeing those Dawgs in Starkville!
