My friend April is in dire need of a new roof. April’s yellow cottage in the woods has been a haven, albeit a leaky one of late, in the midst of difficult times. After a work injury left her unable to work, April underwent surgery, physical therapy, but remained confident that healing would come and she would return to work. Then last autumn a car accident - no fault of April’s - resulted in new injuries and exacerbation of previous injuries. Nevertheless, April continues to move forward; she’s taking a course, learning a new skill, and her body continues to heal. She looks forward to being able to work and support herself again. You’ll see the tarp - a very temporary fix - on the roof of April’s cottage in the photo above. I know your gift - no matter the amount - will bless April and you. Thanks for helping to make April’s cozy cottage in the woods cozy, safe and dry.
