April Williamsen -70 ft Hiking Fall

Donation protected
April Joy Williamsen is a vibrant 26 year old woman. On January 29th, 2017, she was hiking the Kaaterskill Falls trail when, despite being equiped with all of the proper gear, she slipped and fell over 70ft to the bottom of the falls. (Please see news article attached below). She miraculously survived, but in doing so, she shattered her pelvis and sustained head trauma, along with other serious injuries. She has had to have one surgery already to help to realign her pelvis, and more may come to follow.

Unfortunately, although April does have health insurance, she will be forced to be out of work while she heals and regains her ability to walk well. Having had both of her parents pass in previous years, and only living with her younger sister, this will put a lot of financial stress on her, which we all know makes healing a lot harder.

Without extended or immediate family living close to her, it fall upon us (the community) to make sure that April can continue to heal without fearing how she will pay the bills that she needs to pay in order to survive. If you wish to help her by donating, all of these proceeds will go directly to her. If you cannot afford to donate, but wish to pray for her healing journey to go smoothly, we will greatly appreciate it! Thank you so very much!
