Supporting April Swofford — Tough as Nails, Sweet as Flowers
If you know April Swofford, then you already know she’s not your average flower She’s the kind that blooms through concrete — strong, bold, and a little sassy (maybe a little smart assy.) But nonetheless with a heart that refuses to quit.
April has been a force behind our Autism Awareness organization since she helped start it back in 2016. This year, she came to me fired up with an idea — the Puzzle Run — combining her love for motorcycles and her passion for making a difference. ️
On October 10, we were at Armstrong Outdoors wrapping up last-minute event details when April left to grab dinner — and shortly after, she was in a motorcycle accident.
We thank God every single day that she’s still here — because if anyone can make a comeback with attitude and glitter, it’s April.
Now it’s our turn to show up for her the way she’s always shown up for everyone else. All donations will go toward her medical care, recovery, and anything she needs while healing (because we all know she’s going to want to be back in charge ASAP). At the very least she will be out of work for a minimum 6 weeks and so will Adam(of course if she allows him)
April — you’ve always been the fire, the laughter, and the sass behind so many events. You’re exactly what this community needed to get moving again, and now it’s our turn to keep you lifted until you’re back on that bike where you belong.
Please consider donating, sharing, or dropping her a message full of love, pink hearts, and a little bit of sparkle. ✨
