April Guzman is so beautiful, kind and sweet, but behind that smile, she is in a tremendous amount of pain. She has recently been diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia which in medical literature as "the most excruciating pain known to humanity," April’s symptoms began as a stabbing pain but quickly progressed to a feeling of intense electrical shock to her teeth, causing her to be in unbearable pain for hours at a time almost every day. At this point, her only hope for alleviation of the excruciating pain is a surgical procedure that can only be performed by a neurosurgeon at UT Southwestern in Dallas. The cost of the procedure, along with related travel and hotel expenses, is placing April in the position of possibly delaying this critically-needed treatment.
April has always faced life with a positive attitude, her health problems are no different. You will rarely hear her complain and asking for help is one of the most difficult decisions she has ever had to make. I pray those who are able will make a donation so that she can go forward with the much-needed surgery to relieve the unbearable pain she suffers from almost daily!
