April Dawn Butler Memorial Fund

The Butler family is in shock and disbelief at the sudden loss of April Dawn Butler. April, age 42, of Brownwood, Texas, unexpectedly passed into eternity on Sunday, March 19th. She was born in Rockdale, Texas on March 26, 1974 to Dale Elmer Butler and Suzette Brown Butler.
April was raised in a family of boys. With three brothers to contend with, she held her own. She was devastated when the family lost one of her brothers to cancer, Joshua, in 2010. Now her family again is suffering tremendously as they cope with the loss of April. She is survived by her parents and two remaining brothers, and their wives Dace and Amie Butler of Pensacola, Florida and Jonathon and Amanda Butler of Abilene, Texas.
Her small stature was packed with a passion for the gospel and a gift for gab, often times sharing Jesus with people she hardly knew.
On one of her Facebook posts was a picture of a man walking the beach which read 'I like weird people . . . the black sheep, the eccentrics, the loners, the lost and forgotten. More often than not, these people have the most beautiful souls,' along with her comment, "And I suppose it's because I AM one. . . just maybe. . . probably . . .yeah, there is no doubt. . ."
Her love for others and selflessness was often reflected in her generous nature. Her friends, family and even strangers can speak of her willingness to give unconditionally and without reservation. Most recently, she spent much of her time caring for her parents who are in ill health.
But the unquestioned true loves of her life were her two teenage sons she leaves behind, Dillon Michael and Brandon Lee.

Please consider donating money to help her children as they settle into their new home, as well as for other expenses incurred during this incredibly sad time.
Thank you in advance for your generosity towards this beloved family!
