My name is April Caddell. I am a doctoral candidate at The University of Alabama. I am raising funds for my tuition for the semester of Spring 2021. I have been fortunate to make it thus far in my program, but need some help to make it to the finish line. With a fully drafted dissertation, my only remaining requirement is my defense.
More About Me: I graduated with my BA from Spelman College and my MA from The University of Alabama, with degrees in Women's Studies. I am working on my PhD in Education. I am a member of Phi Beta Kappa International Honor Society. In addition to my academics, I have a history of social justice advocacy, having worked with Highlander Research and Education Center, 21st Century Youth Leadership Movement, and the National Park Service. In addition to teaching in the classroom, I am also a certified yoga teacher.
My goal covers my tuition costs with the university for the semester. Any funds beyond the goal will be used to cover graduation fees, including doctoral academic regalia, and cost of living.
