Hello. My name is Desiree and I am creating this account to help cover medical expenses for my mother, April Knigge. My mother dedicated her life to her passion and that passion was nursing. She worked hard to put herself through nursing school while raising 4 young children. Her efforts paid off, and she spent the last 30+ years going above and beyond in her duties doing what she felt she was called to do.

We recently found out that she has metastatic stage 4 cancer of the colon, rectum, liver and lungs. This has been a devastating shock to our entire family. I want to make whatever time she has left as stress-free as possible for her, Doug (her husbsnd) and the rest of her family. Any donations are greatly appreciated. Please help us provide exceptional care for this woman who spent her entire life and career providing extraordinary care for others.
